Stopped by by chance and will be going back again. Excellent food by far the best I've had in a long time.

I came here on recommendation from someone I interpreted for. He did not let me down. The food was perfect! It's clean and simple inside with a small market that has basic Mexican and Central American staples like spices, dried peppers, candies, snacks, etc., a proprietary bakery case (not sure if this is the right term, but it appears it's their baked goods, not like La Sabrosita or something), and a small refrigerated area. The great part is that the chicken is already hot and ready under the heat lamps, but it's fresh and not at all dried out since they keep a steady flow of customers. Everyday, there's a variety of like 3 stews and 2 other grilled meats as well. It all looks soooo yummy! The L.A. style short ribs are like $11 a pound, and they actually have a grill outside where they're constantly grilling the meats, and, yes, all year round. The chicken is cooked inside on a rotisserie spit. When I went, I got the chicken. It was $10 for a small whole chicken that was super tender and juicy without a dry breast in sight. The flavor is simple, brined and seasoned lightly with a true adobo on the skin. The star is the juicy tenderness of the meat. I opted not to get the tortillas and beans for like $3 more. The chicken can feed about 3 adults, I'd say. I ate 2 good meals, my husband had one, and my toddler had a meal all from one chicken, so it worked out well for us. It is now my go-to for quick budget meals on the fly because it is already hot and ready to go and, though they get super busy after work, they ring you up in a flash. Service is prompt, courteous, and helpful. Inside, there are a couple of booths and a few small tables, but most people takeout. The only pain is the itty bitty parking lot with no viable alternatives nearby since there's construction next door. I had to wait a couple minutes to get a spot, but it was worth it. I enjoyed my chicken so much that I went back the next day, and I don't even eat out much. When you're on the way, this place is on a corner, it's small, and simple, so move slowly. If you blink, you'll miss it. There is a gas station under construction next door, and they're on Hull where it intersects with Broad Rock, on the opposite side of CVS, Little Caesar's, and Bocata.
